Spanish 2
Cuento De Tu Ninez
During this project we had to pick a story from our childhood and tell it in Spanish from the past to practice using Preterito. Telling stories is one example that shows that it is very important to be able to speak in the past tense. Without these tenses, It would not have been clear that I was telling a story, not telling what was happening or going to happen to me.
No me creyeron.

During this project, we had to pick a person or an animal and write a story about them getting ready for the day. I picked David Bisbal. We had to write a story using reflexives, which was difficult to understand because they don't even exist in English.

Porque Statement
I want to learn another language because it widens my learning and allows me to think of everything in a new and better way. Spanish specifically is a language that I want to learn because a lot of the population here in the US is made of Spanish speakers. It is a smart choice for me to learn to communicate with them.
Las Ramblas
During this project, we had to pick a famous Spanish person and make a presentation about their life in Spanish and past tense. We learned that the three versions of past tense, perfecto de indicativo, pretérito, and imperfecto. We also learned when and how to use each of these versions.
I think the exhibition went well for me, I had several people watch mine and they all seemed to enjoy it. I also feel like I learned a lot.

La Casa de Mango Street
For this project, we had to write multiple stories about our childhood completely in Spanish. We based these stories on the prompts of chapters in the book "La Casa En Mango Street" by Sandra Cisneros.
I wrote 2 chapters, one about my crazy neighbors, and one about all of the houses I have lived in.
